2008 RETREAT AND CONFERENCE INFORMATION

Cedine Ministries exists to honor God and His Word by partnering with the church in evangelism and discipleship training through quality camp, conference, and outreach ministries, with emphasis on the African-American community.

Our purpose is to help people become mature disciples of Jesus Christ. Special speakers, workshops and activities are planned to meet individuals' needs in each group.

Come away and be refreshed by God’s Word, fellowship and fun. It may just be a weekend that will change your life! Cedine offers:

• Six ladies retreats

• Two men’s retreats

• Two couple’s retreats

• One singles retreat (see registration form for dates).

REGISTRATION

• Please register early, as space is limited.
• Check-in time is between 2:00 - 6:00 p.m.
• Check-out time -- after lunch on last day.
  Except for Family Conferences, which is after breakfast.
• All advance fees are non-refundable.

• All deposits are non-refundable.

• Transfers to another event MUST be made at least 14 days before the conference or retreat. You may transfer fees to an unregistered person if you are unable to attend. No fees may be transferred to a person who is already registered.

LATE REGISTRATION

• Late Registration: If you register less than 14 days before a scheduled event there will be a $10 late fee. In addition, there will be no refund or transfer of fees in case of cancellation.

ACTIVITIES

• Canoeing, swimming, horseback riding, hiking, boat rides, hay rides, etc., will be available according to the season and weather.

ACCOMMODATIONS

• Adult retreat and family conferences use Nash Hall, Grace House, Hance House, Narnia and cottages which provide bed and bath linens. Couples and families are housed in individual units. Single adults are usually housed three per room. Many rooms have a double bed and a set of bunk beds. Others have twin/king size beds. Summer camps and teen retreats--See Youth Camping Housing.

POLICIES

• Pets, alcoholic beverages, or smoking are not allowed in any of the buildings.

SPECIFIC HOUSING

• To reserve a specific housing unit you must send in the completed registration form along with full payment for each person requesting the unit.

• If you wish to be housed with specific roommates, please specify on the registration form. Once you arrive, we ask that you do not change rooms.

• If you have completed a correspondence course you must send in the award check at least two weeks in advance or it may not be honored. The award this year will cover $55 of a retreat fee or $100 of a family conference fee for adults or children.

FAMILY RELATIONS & FAMILY BIBLE CONFERENCE

• The Family Relations Conference is a fun-filled week where the family will do most everything together. For this conference there must be at least one parent accompanying a child who lives with them at their home.

• The Family Bible Conference is a graded Bible conference for people of all ages. Adults may come without children, but children must be accompanied by a parent.
